Roosevelt School of the Arts is a Magnet School within the Fresno Unified School District. All students are eligible to apply to a Magnet School. Students living within the FUSD attendance area are given admission priority, but students from neighboring districts may apply to Magnet Schools when space is available.
To apply, submit an application form before December 1 for the following school year. The application deadline for the 2014-2015 school year was December 1, 2013.
All students with an on-time application have their names entered into a specially designed computer program. The computer randomly selects the students from the names entered. Families are notified in mid-January if they are selected, or if the student is placed on a waiting list. Those students on the waiting list may be selected at a later date, if openings occur.
RSA students are eligible to receive school bus transportation to Roosevelt if they live outside of the area for Roosevelt High School.
